VEGETABLE SEEKH KABAB

 

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Mix vegetables: Of your own choice OR
  2. Cabbage - 100 gm
  3. Carrot - 100gm
  4. Pumpkin - 150 gm
  5. Bottle Gourd - 100 gm
  6. Boiled Potato – 2
  7. Rice flour - 3 Table spoons
  8. Sundae masala - 1 Tea spoon
  9. Cumin-Coriander powder - 1 Tea spoon
  10. Green Paste - 1 Tea spoon
  11. Salt - As per your taste
  12. Oil - For Brushing. 
 

           FOR SEASONING:

  1. White sesame seeds - 1 Tea spoon. 
  2. Mustard seeds - 1 Tea spoon. 
  3. Turmeric - 1/2 Tea spoon
  4. Sticks/Skewers- For Seekh Kabab. (Easily available in market) 

 

METHOD:

  1. First soak all the vegetables with their intact skin in a Luke-Warm water with added turmeric and salt for 15-20 mins. After 15-20 mins wash them with clean water.
  2. Steam all the mix vegetables either as mentioned in ingredients or of your own choice. 
  3. Then take one frying pan. Heat it on a Hotplate/stove/Gas and roast rice flour on it.
  4. Now take another pan, heat it on a Hotplate/Stove/Gas and brush it with approx. one drop oil. 
  5. Add mustard seeds, white sesame seeds and turmeric powder to the pan. 
  6. Roast this for approx. 1 min. 
  7. Now add steamed vegetables, green paste, Coriander-Cumin powder, sundae masala and salt to it.
  8. Sauté’ for 2 min.
